International “gastro-gaming” venue Oche will open its first US location in Miami’s South of Fifth neighborhood

South Beach’s newest restaurant and bar is moving the needle for the city’s social dining options, literally. Oche (pronounced like “hockey” without the H), is bringing its action-packed dart games, elevated cuisine and craft cocktails to Miami Beach starting next month.

Located at 200 South Pointe Dr., the South of Fifth venue will be Oche’s first US location, though the innovative concept is already beloved by guests in Oslo, Amsterdam, Brisbane and Gothenburg.

“We’re excited to bring our one-of-a-kind ‘gastro-gaming’ experience to the Miami community,” explains Troy Warfield, CEO of Oche. “South Beach’s energetic atmosphere is the perfect destination for the first US location of our unique concept, which combines chef-driven cuisine and expertly crafted cocktails with unique dart games optimized for socializing.”

Experience Darts Like Never Before

Oche is making the game of darts mainstream with a modern concept that is perfect for milestone celebrations, happy hours with friends, team building outings and more.

Named for the line players stand behind when throwing darts, Oche features 13 booths with tech-driven, action-packed dart games offering 85 minutes of entertainment for guests to enjoy, all while sipping on craft cocktails and noshing on an array of dining options. Newbie? No problem! Oche’s proprietary technology makes darts simple and fun even for the most novice player.

A private game room and semi-private game room offer the same exciting experience in a setting optimized for parties and corporate events.

Not Your Average Pub Food

Forget fries and chicken fingers, Oche will offer an elevated dining experience that promises a thrilling experience for guests’ taste buds too. Those who prefer to skip out on dart-throwing will still want to head to Oche for its chef-driven cuisine and vibrant cocktails.

The menu is curated by executive chef Niels van Halen, a former chef at the Michelin Star restaurant De Hoefslag in the Netherlands, and Norwegian champion chef Michael Lunga. Dishes are inspired by the flavors of Europe, Asia and Latin America. Highlights include the Sweet Chili Prawns Mofongo, which is perfect for guests craving something spicy, and the deliciously tender Wagyu Burger, which features avocado and cheddar chipotle mayo.

Oche’s cocktail program is curated by well-known local beverage director David Ortiz, and offers a variety of innovative drinks. Guests can sip on the refreshing Mango Tip, made with tequila, mango liqueur, lime, agave and tajin; or try something sweet like the Tamarind Sling, made with vodka, tamarind, chocolate bitters and agave.

“Whether you’re spending the evening with long-time friends or new acquaintances, Oche is designed for sharing joy with others,” Oche Miami Beach’s president Gilles Gillesen shares. “The venue is an ideal place for guests to have fun, unwind and make long-lasting memories,” adds general manager Karla Ibarra.

Oche is open Sunday – Thursday from 11 a.m. – 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. Oche is located at 200 South Pointe Dr. For more information visit http://oche.com or follow @ochemiamibeach on Instagram.
