The Drone Racing League (DRL) is bringing the ultimate drone racing party to Miami. The 2022-23 DRL Algorand World Championship Season race, “Miami 3-0-FLY”, will take place at loanDepot park on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Doors open at 6:00pm and racing starts at 7:15pm.
The world’s best drone pilots will race high-speed drones at 90 mph through a video-game inspired, custom-built 3D aerial course to be crowned champion, as thousands of fans watch live. GA tickets ($25) and Family 4-Packs (20% off) are available HERE.
DRL has local ties with its first race taking place here for its 2016 season, with Miami Dolphins owners RSE Ventures as a DRL investor, and with Algorand, a longtime supporter of the growing Miami Tech movement, as DRL’s Title Partner.
DRL will have a special showcase with drone demos at the Marlins FanFest on Saturday, February 11 at LoanDepot park, featuring DRL’s Hispanic Pilot SebaFPV. The DRL team will also be in town ahead of FanFest, and immediately following, to visit with local universities and schools to talk about the league’s STEM initiatives, local eSports teams and clubs, and engage with the larger Miami Tech community.
