Girl Scout Cookies Will Be Available January 13- February 25, 2024 for Miami-Dade and the Keys

Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida (GSTF) kicks off the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season in Miami-Dade and the Keys, the annual event in which Girl Scouts “unbox their futures” through the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. GSTF cookie season runs from  January 13 through February 25, 2024, while supplies last.

During this highly-anticipated time of the year, girls flex their entrepreneurial muscles and acquire important life skills like money management, team building, public speaking and decision making. All proceeds from cookie sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts’ amazing experiences year-round.

This year’s theme is “Unbox the Future.” When bold, goal-getting Girl Scouts sell a package of cookies, they’re doing much more than what’s seen at face value. Girl Scouts are entrepreneurial powerhouses creating a more equitable future for themselves and the world. Every box of cookies sold provides invaluable experiences for Girl Scouts such as service projects, troop travel and summer camp.

This season, cookie lovers can enjoy the full assortment of Girl Scout Cookies, including fan favorites such as Thin Mints®, Samoas®, Do-si-dos ® and more. There is no increase in price for GSTF Council, most varieties remain at $5 per box and specialty flavors remain at $6 per box.

“When you buy a box of Girl Scout Cookies you are fueling a Girl’s dreams,” said Chelsea Wilkerson, CEO of GSTF. “From as young as six years old, our Girl Scouts develop all the skills it takes to launch a sales program, set and reach their individual goals through the cookie-selling experience.”

Nearly 1,800 girls in Miami-Dade and the Keys are expected to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which provides vital girl-led entrepreneurial skills that build courage, confidence and character. Girl Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards to develop valuable business skills including Cookie Business badges, Financial Literacy badges, Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins and Entrepreneur badges. As a result, girls obtain limitless barrier-breaking futures outside the box with transferable life skills.

How to Purchase Girl Scout Cookies This Year:

If you know a registered Girl Scout, reach out to her to find out how she’s selling cookies. If you don’t know a Girl Scout, use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder here: Girl Scout Cookies® | Girl Scouts to find a booth and purchase cookies.

      – Cookie booths will be held at retail locations such as Publix, Milam’s, and Winn-Dixie, among others.

-If you don’t want to buy cookies for yourself you can make a donation to Hometown Heroes. Girl Scout Troops will deliver Girl Scout Cookies to local first responders, military personnel, teachers and healthcare workers.
