Law firm Gunster hosted “Cocktails, Conversation and Ceviche” on Oct. 8 to christen its new office in Brickell World Plaza. More than 350 attorneys, clients and friends of the firm filled the state-of-the-art space on the 35th floor of the office build- ing. Among them were local elected officials, business and civic leaders, judges and other dignitaries.
The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce team made an appearance at the event as some of the distinguished guests. Gunster’s Aaron Tandy serves on Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s executive board and attended the event along with Chairman Michael Goldberg and Chamber counsel, Michael Band. Chamber President and CEO Jerry Libben and Ceci Velasco, execu- tive vice president and chief operating officer, were also in attendance. Gunster is a long-time supporter and pillar member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Gunster’s Chairman of the Board Sen. George LeMieux spoke at the event, as did Managing Shareholder Bill Perry and Sarah Lea Tobocman, chair of Gunster’s immigration practice. City of Miami Marc Sarnoff presented a proclamation on behalf of the city at the event as well.
Brickell World Plaza is one of the newest and most prestigious office buildings in Miami. At the event, award-winning celebrity Chef Douglas Rodriguez cooked for the crowd who also enjoyed music from the Fox Brothers and a Cuban cigar roller.
