“I swear! It was right there in front of me” says a man claiming he spotted a “thing” emerging from the shore along Miami Beach. According to his story, the man had been casually sketching on the beach one night to “calm his nerves” when he spotted something emerging from the water. He claims it was “looking directly into his eyes” and “standing there” before turning away and moving on toward the right-hand side of the beach. The man had then looked down and realized he had drawn the creature before it left, which he claimed he was “not responsible for.”

Larius Fitzgerald, the name of the painter, was born in Miami and has lived his entire life here. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Architecture, Fitzgerald always wanted to pursue a life in the world of the arts, but never did so on account of his job taking him in other directions. He said he was always trying to find time to practice but was never able to achieve the level of skill that was evident in his painting of the creature that fateful night. Furthermore, it appears this uncanny spike in aptitude reemerges only when asked to draw the creature again – and he does so at an alarmingly fast rate, with the same level of skill as the first piece.

Larius Fitzgerald’s Haunting Piece

By analyzing what Fitzgerald had painted, it appears to have been done in something similar to watercolors. However, on closer examination, the actual “paint” appears to have strange elements within it, leaving many confused. The paint appeared to have the same composition as scabbing. The police have decided to look further into this matter, describing the incident as not the only example of this happening.

“This could be something similar to what happened to Gretchen Herald.” says officer John, recalling a similar case in which a woman in question kept on running until she collapsed from overexertion. The reasoning behind why she did so was unknown, however she reported that the last thing she saw before blacking out was a “weird black thing with many legs.

Comparing Fitzgerald’s painting with this experience, there may be signs of a connection. Word on the street also speaks to a certain conspiracy about the disappearance of Jeremiah Pinkerton, an infamous vandalizer known for his obscene graffiti in public areas. The conspiracy is tied to a leaked video of said Jeremiah encountering a creature in a tunnel with white glowing eyes and black tentacles, with Jeremiah’s disappearance occurring after an “unknown force” breaks his camera.

Whatever it is that’s happening here, the police believe that it is nothing to be worried about, as besides his newfound art skill, Fitzgerald was unharmed in any way. They also ask the public to share information regarding anyone who has claimed to see the beast or to report any incident during which they have experienced the beast themselves.
