The Ocean Drive Association will again host fireworks and a bring back a free patriotic concert with a full orchestra on the Fourth of July taking place in Lummus Park on Miami Beach’s historic Ocean Drive starting at 8:30 p.m. The Miami Beach Classical Music Festival (MBCMF), an intensive training program for the next generation of classical musicians to work with world- renowned mentors and gain professional performing experience, collaborates with the Ocean Drive Association for the performance.

More than 5,000 local residents and visitors are expected to attend the annual Independence Day Broadway Concert with the 50-piece MCMF Symphony Orchestra. The Ocean Drive Association, a dynamic group of forward-thinking Ocean Drive property owners, business owners and residents, worked with local Miami Beach organizations to help make the 2022 orchestra production under the fireworks a massive success.

“MBCMF has further elevated Miami Beach’s status as an international arts and culture destination with these summer-long classical music performances – the first of many,” says Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber of the first concert in 2019. Recognized as one of Miami Beach’s signature patriotic events, the Fourth of July concert series is planned to be an annual tradition produced by the festival’s highly vetted talent and is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the joy and beauty of classical music. Musical performances will include Broadway favorites, your favorite Patriotic Selections including Sousa Marches, America the Beautiful and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. Stay in one of the 40 hotels which are available at all levels, from quaint boutique, to hipster modern or luxury suite.

After the Fireworks, take in a late night dinner but book your evening early at one of the top venues in the country.
