The Ocean Drive Association is thrilled to announce the return of its spectacular Fourth of July celebration, featuring a dazzling fireworks display and a free patriotic concert with a full orchestra. This festive event will take place at Lummus Park on Miami Beach’s iconic Ocean Drive, starting at 8:30 p.m.
In collaboration with the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival (MBCMF), the event will showcase the talents of the next generation of classical musicians. These young artists, who receive intensive training and mentorship from world-renowned professionals, will perform alongside the 50-piece MCMF Symphony Orchestra. This family-friendly performance is expected to attract over 5,000 local residents and visitors.
The annual Independence Day Concert has become a beloved tradition, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Ocean Drive Association. This dynamic group of forward-thinking property owners, business owners, and residents has partnered with local Miami Beach organizations to ensure the event’s success.
Recognized as one of Miami Beach’s signature patriotic events, the Fourth of July concert is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the joy and beauty of classical music. The evening’s musical program will include Broadway favorites, beloved patriotic selections such as Sousa Marches and America the Beautiful and culminate in Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture at the stroke of 9 p.m., coinciding with the fireworks launch.
Special thanks to our partners in Ocean Drive programming: the City of Miami Beach, and GMCVB.
