Ocean Drive’s newest restaurant, Jalapeño Mexican Kitchen is now open, becoming the only authentic Mexican eatery on the famed beachfront boulevard. A departure from its restaurant neighbors, Jalapeño Mexican Kitchen has created a dining destination that takes guests on a journey through the cantinas and streetside markets of Mexico. Featuring vibrant, colorful décor with views of the beach and ocean, an expansive list of signature margaritas and traditional Mexican cuisine made with the freshest ingredients, the restaurant presents a new standard for locals and visitors seeking a casual but memorable experience.

The 88-seat, outdoor establishment is adorned with traditional Mexican, colorful lamps adding to the bright hues of the space. Its outdoor lounge area welcomes patrons to relax and rejoice in the weather as well as the five 55” TV screens perfect to watch any big game. For a more private setting, an intimate eight-seat bar is located inside.
Leading the kitchen is Argentinean-born Chef Miguel Faget whose menu changes twice a year to highlight South Florida’s seasonal ingredients in addition to peppers and spices that are sourced from Mexico for the utmost authentic flavors. Appetizers; Salads; Burgers/Sandwiches; Cantina and Street Tacos; Cuban-inspired Dishes; Grilled Entrées; Signature Dishes; and a Children’s Menu round out the restaurant’s offerings.
Jalapeño Mexican Kitchen is located at 530 Ocean Drive just steps away from the beach. The Maya Group’s restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8:30 am –12 am (Sunday – Thursday) and 8:30 am – 1 am (Friday – Saturday). Delivery and private catering is also available.
