Le Club Original Launches Sustainable Swimwear Capsule Collection with architect William Lane

To Celebrate the Launch, the Brand is Hosting a Beach Cleanup with the Surfrider Foundation

The Miami-based swimwear brand for men and boys, Le Club Original (Le Club), is proud to announce a sustainable, swimwear capsule collection designed with architect William Lane, known for his vibrantly colored lifeguard stands on Miami’s South Beach which will be available to consumers starting as of February 14, 2022.

The collection features seven unique prints utilizing images of Lane’s iconic lifeguard stands that have been altered by a graphic designer and are offered on the brand’s signature elastic waist trunk ($99) in both the 5.5” and 7” length as well as the tailored, flat-paneled trunk ($105), also available in 5.5” and 7” lengths. The entire collection is manufactured from recycled polyester that is created from recycled plastic bottles. Le Club has set a goal of becoming fully sustainable by 2023.

To celebrate the launch of the collection, Le Club has partnered with the non-profit, environmental organization The Surfrider Foundation to host a beach cleanup on Miami Beach. The event is taking place on Saturday, February 19th at 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM 1 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL, behind Nikki Beach.

“Le Club’s roots are in Miami so the partnership with William Lane who created the iconic colorful lifeguard stands on our beaches was a no-brainer for us,” says Billy Little, Le Club’s VP of Operations and Design. “We set out to create a capsule collection that not only encapsulated Miami’s spirit but also brought awareness to the global plastic waste issue that we face. We’re extremely proud that the collection is made from recycled materials and we’re excited to partner with Surfrider Foundation to help give back to the community and make the beaches cleaner and environmentally safer.”
