I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all those that helped make the Champions of Business Panel a huge success. The sold out event, which hosted over 250 business professionals at the St. Regis, was one of the premiere events of the summer. The Chamber’s Emerging Leadership Council, Co-Chaired by Richard Segal and Josh Levy, did a fantastic job in putting together this in depth panel discussion. I also wanted to recognize the Chair of the planning committee Maricruz Garcia who did an astounding job. The Chamber’s Emerging Leadership Council helps lay the ground work and provides a path for our future leaders of tomorrow. Currently this council is one of the strongest within the Chamber and some would say it’s the heart of the Chamber.
The panelists Dj Irie, Jamal Mashburn, Ric Roth and Ana Quincoces shared valuable information about their respective businesses. Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing, Communications and Community Relations at City National Bank Eddie Dominguez did a great job of framing the conversation nicely, asking the right questions, and keeping the program on track throughout the discussion. We also had some great Chamber members as presenting sponsors like Sudsies, The Law Offices of Michael Grieco, 84 West Events and Meat Market.
I want to encourage you to attend the Chamber’s next signature event, the Real Estate Luncheon being held at the Loews Hotel Miami Beach on September 19. Though marketed to the real estate community, this event is open to the general public and will discuss topics that anyone interested in architecture, design and the future of Miami and Miami Beach will find fascinating.
