On September 3, the Chamber will celebrate a momentous occasion – its INcard program turning 5 years old with a carnival themed anniversary celebration for the program in Hall D of the Convention Center from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. We expect close to 100 INcard Vendors in attendance to showcase their services, host carnival themed games and provide raffle items. We expect hundreds of INcard fans to pack the banquet hall and enjoy great food, music and special surprises. So far we have signed up some exciting vendors like Sriracha House, Sassoon Salon, Rennert International Language Services and Mary Kay Cosmetics to name a few.
Leading up to the event there will be a social media campaign with giveaways and surprises on the INcard Facebook Page and Twitter handle. There will also be a contest where consumers will be entered into a drawing for a $500 cash prize by visiting as many INcard vendors as possible by providing receipts of transactions at participating establishments. To access the party, consumers can present their physical INcard or the mobile app version, a recent receipt from one of the participating vendors at the party, a ticket from a vendor or sign up for an INcard at the party. Becoming a vendor at the party is free for Chamber members and if you would like to become involved contact the Chamber at 305-674-1300.
Beginning as an initiative of the Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Taskforce for Tourism, the INcard has succeeded in generating business from tourists and residents alike as well as from our neighbors across the bay. With support from the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority and the City of Miami Beach, the business stimulus program provides endless discounts to Miami Beach residents and visitors. In the short time since its creation, close to 400,000 cards have been given out and there have been thousands of downloads of the mobile app.
