Consulting firm LSN Partners, who offer advice in the areas of government affairs, government procurement, business development, and communications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcelo Llorente to the title of Managing Partner of LSN Partners. Marcelo brings over ten years of public finance, governmental, and public policy law experience to LSN, and is currently also the Managing Partner of Llorente and Heckler, P.A. Armed with a keen understanding of how government works, Marcelo is able to provide companies with unique insight on how to navigate business opportunities at the local, state, or national level.

Marcelo’s experience includes serving in the Florida House of Representatives, where he has held a variety of positions since his first election in 2002, including Chairman of the Full Appropriations Council on General Government and Health Care, Vice-Chairman of the Joint Legislative Budget Commission, Chairman of the Policy Council, and Chairman of the Committee on Constitution and Civil Law. Most recently, Marcelo served as Chairman to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez’s 2012 re-election campaign and served as Co-Chair for Miami Dade Public Schools’ 2012 successful $1.2 billion bond referendum program. Additionally, Marcelo is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the Florida Bar’s Section on Local Government.

Florida native Marcelo was born and raised in Miami-Dade County. He attended Tulane University in New Orleans and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, while being a four-year letterman in baseball. Marcelo received his Juris Doctorate from The Florida State University College of Law.
