In recognition of the contributions of Hispanic residents and culture, the City of Miami Beach will hold a number of events to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

“The Hispanic community is woven into the fabric of Miami Beach—its art, culture, and spirit have shaped our city in lasting ways,” said Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor that living legacy and celebrate the generations whose creativity, vision, and cultural depth continue to inspire us all.”

“Hispanic Heritage Month is a reminder that our stories are not only about the past, but about the future we continue building together,” added Miami Beach Commissioner Alex Fernandez. “As a Hispanic American, I carry deep gratitude for this country — for the sacrifices of the generations before us, and for those who continue the journey with courage and resilience, working hard, giving back, and gifting us a rich cultural legacy that shapes who we are today.”
