The Miami Beach Chamber Education Foundation is proud to participate in Give Miami Day 2025, taking place on Wednesday, November 20, with early giving beginning Friday, November 15. The Foundation invites the community to support Miami Beach feeder pattern public schools by donating online at Give Miami Day – Miami Beach Education Foundation.

For years, the Education Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing student opportunities and supporting educators. Its accomplishments include creating a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen at Miami Beach High School to provide students with hands-on experience in the growing culinary profession, awarding impactful projects in local schools, and building programs such as the Nurse and Mental Health Initiative to support student health and wellness across the eight schools in the Miami Beach feeder pattern. The Foundation has also supported students in housing transition through Miami Dade Project Upstart. Currently, through the Elayne Weisburd Excellence in Education Annual Event, outstanding teachers are recognized with cash awards and prizes, while graduating seniors receive scholarships, including Next Generation scholarships for university students at Florida International University and Miami Dade College. Past co-chairs Robin Jacobs and Linsey Lovell helped shape the Foundation’s vision, and the newly appointed Chair, Andres Asion, is already guiding the Foundation on a promising path forward.

“Supporting the Education Foundation allows us to invest directly in the future of our students,” said Andres Asion, Chair of the Education Foundation. “Every donation strengthens our schools, empowers educators, and creates meaningful opportunities that will shape the next generation.” Brittnie Bassant, President & CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, added, “Give Miami Day is a chance for our community to come together to make a real difference. Your contributions provide vital resources, recognition, and opportunities for both students and teachers, leaving a lasting impact on our schools and community.”

Donations can be made during early giving beginning November 15 or on Give Miami Day, November 20. Every gift helps support educators, students, and programs that strengthen Miami Beach public schools and the community they serve.
