The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted its 4th Annual City National Bank Badass Women of the Year Awards on Friday, August 23rd, at the vibrant and lush Jungle Island. The event was nothing short of spectacular, drawing an impressive crowd of influential women from across Miami-Dade County who came together to support, celebrate, and uplift one another in a powerful display of unity and empowerment.
The energy in the room was electric as the event recognized and honored extraordinary businesswomen who are not only excelling in their careers but also breaking through glass ceilings in industries traditionally dominated by men. These women embody the spirit of resilience, determination, and leadership that the Badass Women of the Year Awards seek to celebrate.
A special thanks to our Presenting Title Sponsor, City National Bank, whose invaluable support made this event a resounding success. The awards featured 11 categories, each highlighting women who have made significant contributions to their respective fields.
This year, we introduced a surprise addition: The Badass Woman of the Year Award. This prestigious honor was given to the highest scoring finalist across all categories, recognizing the most exceptional among the exceptional. The 2024 Badass Woman of the Year Award went to Rickelle Williams, Assistant City Manager of the City of Miami Beach, whose remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence in her field set her apart as a true trailblazer and an inspiration to all.
