Miami foundation launches at Thrive Seminar, with a Q&A by Daymond John from ABC Shark Tank and a $10,000 investment into a Miami start-up

[dropcap]D[/dropcap]aymond John, the star of the ABC hit television show, “Shark Tank,” and The Nelson Foundation have come together to present the Foundation’s inaugural event, The Thrive Seminar, on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at 6pm, at the Colony Theater in Miami Beach.

The Thrive Seminar series is designed to expose participants to entrepreneurs who have gained international notoriety and success to learn the keys to launching a successful business. The first Thrive Seminar on August 27, 2015, will feature a Q&A LIVE session with Daymond John, celebrity entrepreneur, angel investor and host of ABC’s “Shark Tank”. Mr. John will address attendees, speaking on his personal and life-changing journey as an entrepreneur as well as share practical advice and tips that contributed to his success in business.

“With the rise of entrepreneurship in the United States, a diverse cross-section of individuals are leaving large organizations and are starting their own business. The Thrive Seminar offers an opportunity for the budding entrepreneur to access valuable, real experiences from business moguls with proven formulas.” states Daymond John.

The audience will also hear three live pitches from selected, budding entrepreneurs before a high profile panel of judges, to help one young leader take a step towards fulfilling their dream. The Nelson Foundation will present the winner with $10,000 to assist with startup costs.
