From the group who debuted KOA Poke, unveils a new secretive and interactive dining experience.

Inspired by the timeless Japanese tradition omakase, brings a new kind of experience from Miami Beach newcomer, Nossa Omakase. The same group who introduced poke themed, Koa Restaurants is expanding their talents into something bigger as Nossa is discretely located behind the Hawaiian concept. In Portuguese, Nossa translates to “wow” in which this thrilling 16-18 course experience lives up to the name. Reservations are required for this one-of-a-kind dinner. Once booked, guests will receive special instructions on how to access their destination.

Born out of friendship and a common love for quality sushi, Nossa Omakase was founded by four friends who live in South Florida including cosmopolitan gourmands, Sebastian Labno and Astrid Ramirez. The duo shared, “We’ve traveled all over the world for sushi and when it comes to omakase, we felt Miami was ready for something bigger and better. We wanted to introduce an intimate yet, thrilling experience that matches the same vibrancy of this city. Like the name means, we want our guests to say “wow” at the end of dinner and feel fulfilled.”

Nossa Omakase is helmed by Executive Chef, Max Kamakura who is a Japanese-Brazilian classically trained, third generation, sushi chef who takes his guests on a multi-course journey. His version of omakase gives a nod to the traditional Japanese dining experience while

introducing flavors from his Brazilian background and his travels. Highlights include smoking lobster sashimi, uni with black truffle on crispy rice, A5 wagyu nigiri, chutoro nigiri topped with caviar and otoro uni truffle temaki. During dinner, every guest has the best seat in the house as they are all seated behind a posh circular sushi bar. Expect lots of smoke, some fire and a tableside show as garnishes are finished before the diner’s eyes including freshly shaved truffles.

Interested adventurers can book their reservations on TOCK where they will then
receive instructions on how to enter the very discreet location. Guests must arrive at Koa Poke where they will be handed an envelope which gives them directions on how to enter inside Nossa including a password that must be shared at the entrance. All diners will wait inside their speakeasy bar Nossa, where vintage Japanese films are playing for a complimentary cocktail, sake or Japanese Whiskey. Once all diners arrive, they are escorted through a dark corridor that opens up into a theater like den that is uniquely Miami and designed to Wow guests upon arrival. Menu options include a 16-18 course dinner ($250 per guest) or there is a pescatarian option ($225 per guest).
