The Family-Run Bakery and Donut Shop Is Expanding Its Offerings With a Colorful Burger Bun and Sweeping Breakfast Selection
Pink Love Donuts & More, the family-run bakery and donut shop serving made-from-scratch gourmet donuts, artisan croissants and Argentine empanadas, is expanding its offerings with an all-day breakfast menu that includes a variety of flavorful French toasts, chicken and waffles, and breakfast sandwiches with donut buns. With this new offering, the popular eatery is also launching its first-ever Pink Burger, with two mouthwatering selections to choose from.
Pink Love Donuts & More got its start in Oakland Park before opening a second location in Miami Beach last year to welcome a new crowd of donut aficionados. Located at 222 67th St., the locally loved donut shop and restaurant invites guests into a cheery environment of rainbow-colored decor, sensual aromas of sugar and melted chocolate, and mouthwatering rows of homemade baked goods. Now, the vibrant hot spot is growing its menu to settle further into the community and set itself apart from its neighbors.
“We decided to add breakfast to offer our customers even more delicious options throughout the day,” said owner Diego Macedo. “As a Miami Beach establishment, we know that people are always on the go and looking for a tasty and convenient place to grab a bite that doesn’t compromise quality. The Pink Burger is an homage to the theme of our shop, and we can’t wait for guests to dig in.”
The new menu opens with an all-day breakfast selection of acai bowls, avocado toast, and breakfast sandwiches and burritos such as the Peanut Butter Acai Bowl ($14.99), Ahi Tuna Avocado Toast ($15.99) and Ham and Cheese Donut Sandwich ($7.50). A variety of waffles, pancakes and French toast, such as the Nutella and Strawberries French Toast ($15.99), showcases the sweet side of things, while those searching for something more savory can enjoy egg dishes like Huevos Rotos ($15.99) or the classic Chicken and Waffles ($16.99). Other dishes include sandwiches, fries, wings, poke bowls and burgers, including the Prosciutto Sandwich ($17), 12 Jumbo Buffalo Wings ($19.99) and Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl ($15.99).
Guests can also dig into two Pink Burger ($15.99 each) selections: the traditional Pink Burger, served classic with two Angus beef patties, provolone cheese, chimichurri and a side of home fries, and the Pink Panther Burger, served with provolone cheese, chimichurri, tomato and fresh arugula. The Pink Burgers are part of the launch of Pink Burger Miami, a new line from Pink Love Donuts & More that focuses on the brand’s creative burgers. Pink Burger Miami is currently available at the Miami Beach storefront and Smorgasburg Miami, the Miami edition of the largest weekly open-air food market in America.
When it comes to donuts, Macedo believes there’s no such thing as having too many flavors. The bakery currently has more than 80 different varieties in rotation, from classic glazed to gourmet picks like Bacon Sriracha, Dulce de Leche, Nutella and Tres Leches. Pink Love Donuts & More also offers a wide selection of vegan-friendly donut options that are baked as squares rather than circles for easy identification.
To drink, coffee lovers can find signature lattes, such as the Signature Iced Chocolate Latte ($6.99), cold brews with cold foam, Italian espresso, cappuccinos and more. Freshly squeezed juices include the Frappe Strawberry Lemonade ($6), while the smoothie selection includes blends of strawberries, mangos and pineapples.
All donuts, croissants, empanadas and other baked goods are made in-house, from scratch, daily. The baking process begins late the evening before, when the baker starts the donut preparation. Macedo arrives around 3 a.m. to prepare the croissants and empanadas so that the shop is ready to open by 7 a.m. Previously, a sold-out inventory of baked goods forced Pink Love Donuts & More to close earlier in the day, but with the Miami Beach location’s expanded menu, guests can visit the shop for a bite until closing at 6 p.m.
