Real Estate Life Changers is What We Do Everyday

Real estate is one of the most important assets people possess. Helping customers in their next real estate move is not only a matter of showing homes, explaining the market, recommend the best pricing or marketing strategy. It is above all listening to each person involved in the project, understanding the full picture, and making sure their needs are understood and taken care of. It’s about building long term relationships and guiding people through the smoothest transition possible, as every change comes with its own set of challenges.

Sharing the same passion and dedication for advising people in their Real Estate projects, Elisabeth Gazay and Marine Lavaud Borie, together combining 20 years of international expertise and success, recently joined the Douglas Elliman office of Miami Beach.

“From Paris to Miami, markets change but core values and expectations are the same, explained the team. Our customers deserve a service as high as the trust they give us”.

Former VP Communications of Experian France and Global VP Communications of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Elisabeth Gazay landed in Miami 20 years ago and “it was a one-way ticket, she says. I am so passionate about Miami’s growth, architecture, urban planning and economic development”. She has raised two daughters and has been very involved in local organizations, including the Board of the French Florida Chamber of Commerce. For the past 6 years she was director of the Miami branch of Barnes International Realty, a luxury boutique firm.

She has sold more than $70 million in Real Estate. Her clients praise her strong ethics, negotiation skills, and service-oriented approach. Whether you want to know what the best views for sunset lovers are, the best location for boat owners, or the neighborhoods with green spaces, Elisabeth will have the answer for you.

Marine Lavaud Borie fell in love-at-first-sight with Miami, “because of its energy, diversity, and cultural environment”. A musician (violinist and pianist), former member of the St Augustine Symphony Orchestra, she has organized many charity events. Marine brings her real estate expertise from the international market in Paris, where she owned her own brokerage. “In any country, what I value above all is the gratification that comes when customers shake hands at the closing table, because the transaction has been good spirited and run smoothly”.

Their advice to someone looking to buy in Miami? “The first step is to define the project and the goals for the long term. Take the time to become familiar with different neighborhoods, what they have to offer, go around daytime and nighttime. Miami is changing so fast that it is essential also to know about new projects around, the future of the area. We are here to help you in gathering this information. You buy not only for today, but also for tomorrow, with the goal to get more value for your investment. We look forward to serving all your real estate needs!”
