Renzo Piano’s Eighty Seven Park Unveils $68 Million Mega Penthouse

The 30,657-square-foot sky residence offers 360-degree ocean and park views, a personal hammam, putting green and dual rooftop infinity pools

Eighty Seven Park, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano’s first residential project in the Western Hemisphere, has revealed details and pricing for the boutique, luxury condominium’s much anticipated penthouse. Developed by Terra, along with Bizzi & Partners Development, New Valley and Pacific Eagle, the top two floors of the 66-residence, landmark building are home to a $68 million, indulgent penthouse inspired by nature.

Designed by RDAI in Paris, the beacon residence floats above the Atlantic Ocean and 35 acres of parkland, with 12,410-square-feet of interior space and an expansive outdoor terrace totaling 18,247-square-feet, the largest in South Florida. Featuring 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 3 powder rooms, one service suite, a private gym and home theater, the penthouse’s fluid design and floor- to-ceiling windows erase any sense of interior and exterior, offering harmonious indoor/outdoor living and panoramic views of the Ocean and Miami skyline. The rooftop terrace, which equals double the size of the interior space, is surrounded with lush tropical landscaping and vertical gardens. Two 45-foot long infinity pools are perfectly placed for sunset and sunrise lounging, complimented with two summer kitchens and an outdoor theater. Additional rooftop amenities include a golf putting green and personal Turkish hammam.

“Capitalizing on the architectural vision of Renzo Piano Building Workshop, we envisioned a private sanctuary where the most refined buyer can feel connected with nature and at peace,” said David Martin, President of Terra. “Miami’s natural landscape lends itself to purposeful living and we wanted to create a penthouse that truly embodies that – offering a home with unrivaled attention to detail and the opportunity to indulge in outdoor living at its finest.”

With design inspired by the natural surroundings of North Beach, materials collected from the location site, pebbles, shells, leaves and sea grass are highlighted throughout the space. Light oak flooring mimics the color palette of aged sea grape leaves, the Venetian terrazzo floors echo the tranquility of Miami’s white sandy beaches, and crystal clear walls of glass lend beauty and elegance to the residence. A sculptured wood and marble staircase adorns the living room, evoking a ribbon that links to the rooftop. A European-influenced chef’s kitchen overlooking the water is equipped with Wolf and Subzero appliances. With access via two private elevators, the penthouse features a master suite with his and hers closets and bathrooms, as well as a design package by RDAI with hand-selected furnishings by Hermes, Giorgetti, and Christopher Delcourt, included in the purchase price.

“The final palette is a mixture of natural materials, hand-crafted finishes, sophisticated forms and a dash of color,” said RDAI Design Director Julia Capp. “We looked to provide a serenely relaxed atmosphere, peaceful and poetic, with a purity of color and form. The penthouse was designed with a desire to open out towards the exterior. Its incredible location and breathtaking views allows the light to gently infuse the interior and maintain contact with the exterior – which was an integral part of the design.”

Located in North Beach, just minutes from Bal Harbour shopping, Surfside and Miami’s most exclusive district, Indian Creek, Eighty Seven Park brings together architecture, design and the natural landscape, seamlessly embracing the adjacent 35-acre park and ocean. With 66 intimate, flow-through residences floating atop two lush parks, Eighty Seven Park infuses Central Park living into North Beach for the first time ever – forming a botanical, oceanfront sanctuary, with uninterrupted ocean views. Created in close collaboration with RDAI in Paris and landscape firm West 8 in Rotterdam, the condominium’s fluid design blurs the line between imagination and craftsmanship.

“Eighty Seven Park is a project that is truly singular for the South Florida market,” said Howard M. Lorber, Chairman of Douglas Elliman Realty. “Its world-class architecture by Renzo Piano, direct oceanfront location, high-caliber interior design and luxury suite of amenities has proven to be appealing to buyers from across the United States and from around the globe. We look forward to    continued    sales    success    now    that    the    super-structure    is    complete.”

Eighty Seven Park’s world-class amenities include around-the-clock concierge and butler service, an outdoor Fugo juice bar, Enoteca wine bar with sommelier, 2-acre private residents’ park tended to by a full-time botanist, and a relaxation spa featuring a Hammam, aquatic therapy sessions, and health coaching. Eighty Seven Park is on track for completion in late 2019. For more information, call (305) 834-4999 or visit www.eightysevenpark.com.
