The 5th Annual City National Bank Badass Women of the Year Awards Celebrates Powerhouse Women Who Inspire, Lead & Transform

The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted the 5th Annual City National Bank Badass Women of the Year Awards on Friday, August 22nd at Jungle Island, where a sold-out crowd gathered to honor unstoppable women breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations. With a vibrant “Queen of the Tropics” theme, the event overflowed with energy, empowerment, and community spirit.

The highest honor of the afternoon, The Badass Woman of the Year Award, was presented to Deborah Martineau of the Miami Beach Police Department PAL, who achieved the highest score among all nominees and was recognized for her relentless dedication to service and uplifting the lives of Miami Beach youth.

“These women represent courage, vision, and perseverance. Each honoree is a force in her industry, and together, they remind us that women can and will continue to lead with impact,” said Kim Haber, Chair of the Women’s Business Council.

From the moment guests entered, the atmosphere was electric. The cocktail reception sparkled with champagne provided by Gulf Liquors, an eye-catching balloon display by Hats Off, and a stunning showcase from Tidelli Outdoor Furniture. Finalists walked the red carpet with MIA Media Group, enjoying lively interviews with Editor-in-Chief, Nikki Svec, while live music and dancers filled the room with infectious energy.
