Annual Meeting 2014: A Successful Year in Review
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n the afternoon of October 7, the WHotel in Miami Beach will be the place to be if you own a business or do business on the beach. The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) will host its annual meeting which brings together its membership for the largest networking event of the Fall. Hundreds of members will come together to celebrate the Chamber’s accomplishments, welcome new members and swear in new leadership. Additionally, Chairman of the Chamber and SVP Of Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust Michael S. Goldberg will be sworn in as Chairman for a two-year term.“I’m honored to continue to serve as the Chamber’s Chairman for a two-year term,” said Goldberg. “We have an exciting presentation lined up and I’m looking forward to welcoming new members, applaud the successes of long-time ones and introduce new board members to the community.”

The Chamber’s Annual Meeting provides a unique opportunity for members to share their success and growth of the previous year and connect with the possibility of new business prospects. Furthermore, the incoming Board of Governors and Pillar Board members are installed and sworn in. In addition to the presentation, incoming board members will recite their oath of office. Chairman of the Board, Michael S. Goldberg, has two more years of service and Madeleine Romanello, Broker at One Sotheby’s, will be sworn in as the incoming Chair of the Pillar Board of Trustees.
