Greetings! I’m Jerry Libbin and serve as the President & CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. Being a member of the Chamber is most effective when you are actively engaged in our programming. I strongly recommend that you look at our calendar of events and schedule yourself to attend some of our wonderful programs. A couple weeks ago, we held our third annual Heroes Breakfast, and if you were not present, plan on attending it next year, but don’t miss out on the upcoming City National Bank Better Beach Awards Luncheon scheduled for April 27th at the One Hotel.
Kurz Real Estate Heroes Breakfast – The Chamber honored first responders at its 3rd Annual Heroes Pillar Breakfast Presented by Kurz Real Estate at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach held on Friday, February 10th. At the sold out event, the Chamber continued its tradition of recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding individuals doing brave work in the community. We gave each of the nine first responders over $5,000 worth of gifts, which included a one night stay at the W South Beach, a party package from Mango’s Tropical Café and an ice bar experience from Drinkhouse Fire & Ice, to name a few. Additionally, we made a $1,000 contribution to both the Police Officers Assistance Trust Fund and the Miami Beach Fire Department Benevolent Association in their heroes’ honor.
City National Bank Better Beach Awards – Currently, we are accepting nominations for our City National Bank Better Beach Awards, which honors the very best in the real estate community. This a great opportunity to nominate clients, friends and colleagues. We are accepting nominations in historic preservation, architecture, design and honoring rising stars in the field.
