The Grand Opening Date has been set for The Savoy Hotel Bar and Lounge in Miami, Florida. On November 30, 2012 The Savoy Hotel will officially open its doors as the newest bar and lounge in South of Fifth.
The Savoy Hotel Bar & Lounge is located in SoFi, which was once considered a quiet zone, but these day’s tourists are finding it’s a vibrant destination. One of the only oceanfront hotels in the area, The Savoy Hotel will be a staple for entertainment, great drinks and good times. Patrons will be able to hang at the bar and catch a game on the flat screen TVs or lounge on the patio. The Savoy Hotel Bar & Lounge will be open weekly on Fridays and Saturdays until midnight.
The grand opening is planned to be nothing short of groundbreaking. DIRRECTCONNECT, a Chicago area entertainment group with be hosting the event along with The Savoy Hotel staff. The grand opening will begin with happy hour at 5:00 p.m. then Red Carpet arrivals at 7:00 p.m., followed by scrumptious passed hors d’oeuvres until 10:00 p.m. and signature cocktails. The evening will also feature music and flowing bubbly provided by Perrier-Jouet. There will be plenty of time for photo ops as there will be photographers capturing every moment.

General Manager, Gary Hyre, whose experience includes the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company along with Food and Beverage Director, Peter Wallace, have worked diligently to design the lounge space and create the signature passed hors d’oeuvres for the evening. “We simply can’t wait to share our venue with the South of Fifth community,” added Gary Hyre, “and we look forward to hotel guest enjoying our newest amenity.”
With no cover charge and great drink specials the night will be sure to leave a lasting impression for those looking for a great time in SoFi.
