Miami Beach based Non-Profit, Women’s Exhibit, Inc. (WE) has co- produced The Annual Miami Beach Women’s Conference with The Mayor’s Office of the City of Miami Beach since 2009. The event, now in its sixth year, has showcased women lead- ers from S Florida local government to International Consul Generals on their annual “Mayor’s Panel at Miami Beach City Hall free to the public.
The Conference day starts at 8:00 – 9:30 am with “Breakfast with a View” featuring a complimentary continental breakfast on the 3rd Fl Veranda of City Hall at 1700 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach with Guest Speaker Monica Zima, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and hosted by The Miami Beach Chamber’s Women’s Business Council.
The Mayor’s Panel: “Women in Uniform” 9:30 am to Noon features an esteemed panel of female military and public safety officers including US Air Force Major Brook Cortez, WW II Marine Conni Gordon and Addy Villanueva; Special Agent in Charge of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The Mayor’s Panel is hosted by Mayor Philip Levine and sponsored by Boucher Brothers Management.

Immediately following the Conference, the Women’s Exhibit, Inc. hosts an Annual Luncheon Fundraiser at The Miami Beach Botanical Garden adjacent to City Hall at 2000 Convention Center Drive from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
The 2014 Luncheon is called “Darden in the Garden” thanks to the generosity of Darden Restaurants’ well-known family brands LongHorn Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze, Season’s 52 and Olive Garden.

The luncheon program includes a “Women in History” Presentation about the role of women soldiers sta- tioned in Miami Beach during WWII with noted authors & historians Judith Berson & Professor Seth Bramson.
2014 Scholarship Awards will be Hosted by Neki Mohan of WPLJ 10 News the winners of a Women’s History essay contest by Miami Beach High School Seniors.
The day closes with a Live Auction Hosted by Jill Tracey; Hot 105 & Miami Herald’s Miami.com and “Live, Life & the 411”.
