As recent Past Chairman, I’m still reflecting quite a bit on the experience and, admittedly, am perhaps a little homesick for the role. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled to have passed the baton and continue on with the Miami Beach Chamber in other capacities, but there are still people to whom I’d like to express my gratitude. Among those is Chantal Gloor.
I commenced my Chairmanship with a big agenda and aggressive schedule. As Director of Operations, Chantal embraced each task with an equal aggression. Expectations weren’t just met, but exceeded every step of the way. With her make-ithappen attitude, Chantal tackled and ultimately squashed any obstacles, exhibiting executive-style leadership and making me so proud to be a part of such a wonderful team. It’s through people like Chantal that visions are made a reality.
Chantal, it was a delight to work with you. It’s truly remarkable all that you have accomplished in such a short timespan and is the mark of a great leader.
