It’s a pet adoption marathon of love at the 24-hour Mega Match-a-Thon starting Friday, October 20 at 11:59 p.m. and all day Saturday, October 21 until 11:59 p.m. at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155.
Miami-Dade Animal Services (Animal Services) is partnering with PetSmart Charities and Revolution Radio Miami to host the 2017 Mega Match-a-thon event. Adopters will have a 24-hour window of opportunity to meet, fall in love with and adopt one or more of over a hundred adorable cats, kittens, dogs and puppies from Animal Services.
Adoption fees to take home your perfect pet match are 50% off for dogs over four months of age and free for cats/kittens. All pets adopted are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and ready to be loved.
The event includes round-the-clock entertainment from local artists, a farmer’s market, food trucks, music and children’s activities. See Entertainment and Activity Schedule.
