The below Public Works projects are aimed at repairing and constructing new sidewalks that are compliant with the American Disability Act (ADA). The work also includes resurfacing and pavement preservation on the roads to increase their lifespan. These projects are from the CITT – Transportation ½ Cent Sales Tax. The Stormwater Projects are funded through the Stormwater Funds collected through the Tax Roll.

Sidewalk/Resurfacing at NW 17 Ave. to NW 37 Ave. and from NW 167 St. to NW 183 St. The cost of this project is $2.1mil (CITT Funding).
Future: 2021-22
Vista Verde NW 207 St.: Median irrigation on NW 207 St. from NW 37 Ave. to County Line Rd. The cost of this project is $497,712 (CITT Funding).
NW 7 Ave.: Road widening (Streetscape from NW 183 St. to NW 7 Ave. Extension). Design completed: In permitting phase. The cost of this project is $4.8 million (CITT and Stormwater Funding).
NW 34 Ave. and NW 151 Terr.: Area road and drainage improvement project. In design phase. This project cost is $800,000 (CITT and Stormwater Funding).
NW 165 St.: Area drainage improvement project (East of NW 27 Ave.) The cost of this project is $25,000 (Stormwater Funding).
NW 183 St. to NW 191 St. and NW 27 Ave. – NW 42 Ave.: Road and sidewalk project. The cost of this project is $1.5 million (CITT Funding).
NW 187 St.: Drainage and sidewalk curbing improvement project (from NW 33 Ct. – NW 34 Ct.) The cost of this project is $175,000 (Stormwater Funding).
NW 187 St. to NW 199 St., from NW Sunshine State Parkway East to NW 12 Ave.: Area road resurfacing, sidewalks and drainage improvement. This project cost is $1.2 million (CITT and Stormwater Funding).
NW 191 St. to NW 199 St. and NW 2 Ave. to NW 7 Ave.: Roadway and sidewalk project. This project cost is $700,000 (CITT Funding).
NW 195 Terr. from NW 33 Ct. to NW 34 Ct.: Drainage project. The cost of this project is $25,000 (Stormwater Funding).
NW 199 St. to NW 202 St. between NW 3 to NW 15 Ave.: Roadway and sidewalk Project. This project cost is $1.2 million (CITT Funding).
NW 202 Terr.: Road, drainage and street parking improvement project (west of NE 2 Ave.) The cost of this project is $750,000 (Stormwater Funding).
NW 203 St.: Area drainage improvement project (between NW 4 Ave. and NW 7 Ave.) The cost of this project is $50,000 (Stormwater Funding).
NW 211 St., between NW 27 and NW 37 Ave.: Road and drainage improvement project. The cost of this project is $130,000 (CITT Funding).
NW 213 St.: Drainage improvement project. The cost of this project is $100,000 (Stormwater Funding).
Westside – Blueway Trail from NW 191 St. to Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex: Non-motorized trails – Phase #3 – City of Miami Gardens will fund the project design and FDOT will fund the construction. The cost of this design project is $250,000 (CITT Funding); and construction cost is $850,000 (FDOT Funding).
