‘Tis the season for parties with friends and co-workers, family gatherings, and concert performances. It’s also the time of year that many of our patients consider treating themselves with the gift of a fresher look. One of our patients recently reached out with a question that encapsulates widely held sentiments about such cosmetic treatments using facial fillers and neurotoxins. She explained that she’d already consulted with two different doctors and received two very different recommendations regarding which products to use. She wanted to know why there’s such a variation in opinions. And, of course, she also wanted our recommendat.... Read More

Tedward By Josh Pettinger is Going to Surprise in 2025
Tedward by Josh Pettinger is what you would get if you paused Clowes at ‘Lloyd Lewellyn’ and baked in the flat colors he mastered in Eightball, and carried forward that offbeat storytelling with a singular character. This isn’t to say Pettinger’s effort here is a carbon copy, this is to say he picked up the torch Clowes left behind and carried it upwards into new heights. The artwork is phenomenal at every page turn and you really get a sense that Pettinger is engrossed in the work. There’s humor, suspense, crime, and romance all contained within this compilation of Tedward stories Pettinger self published over the course of a few years. All in all there are 9 stories in this collection, with a wonderful contribution from Simon Hanselmann, who very obviously understands the aloofness and sexual tension of the main protagonist. Towards the end... Read More

The heart of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 Coupe is a sophisticated 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine, supplemented by a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Together, they produce a robust 443 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain’s response is impressively immediate, making the 0-60 mph sprint in a claimed 4.0 seconds feel effortlessly dramatic. All together, it delivers 20 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway. The exterior design successfully marries modern styling with elegance. The long hood and short deck proportions are classic Mercedes coupe, but the details are thoroughly modern. The AMG grille is unmistakable, while the slim LED headlights and taillights add a contemporary touch. The profile reveals a more athletic stance than its predecessors... Read More
