The City of North Miami stands in solidarity with the Town of Surfside as they continue to search for survivors from today’s tragic condominium building collapse.

“We are deeply saddened by the condominium collapse in Surfside. Our hearts are with all of the families affected by this tragedy” stated North Miami City Manager Theresa Therilus, Esq.

The City of North Miami proactively inspects and monitors local buildings that are due for their 40 Year Re-Certifications. City inspectors will ramp up their efforts to visit buildings that are in the process of complying with their 40 Year Re-Certification requirements to ensure they provide the City with a full report of all necessary and mandatory inspections.
