As part of its National Nurses Week celebration, Florida Medical Center honored its best nurses at a special awards ceremony. Nurses from all departments were recognized for their hard work and commitment to patient care. “Nurses play an important role in our Community Built on Care. Every day, they provide compassionate, quality care to our patients,” said Jeffrey M. Welch, CEO of Florida Medical Center. “I am deeply grateful to our nurses and their commitment to our hospital.” Florida Medical Center also held the blessing of the hands for its nurses, a gesture to sanctify the healing they provide.
