If you have yet to enjoy this long standing Halloween tradition, it’s time that you made your way to the haunting trails of the Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park, located at 1725 NE 135 Street, in North Miami. The Halloween Haunted Trails and Family Fun Zone event, is coordinated by the North Miami Parks and Recreation Department and occurs on Friday, October 24th from 7 – 11 p.m. (gates close at 10 p.m. or once the park is at capacity.)
Ghosts and Goblins of all ages are welcome at this family-friendly event, filled with activities for all. The youngest party-goers can enjoy the Family Fun Zone, which includes a costume parade, hayrides, music, entertainment, games, and more! Food is available for purchase throughout the park. Attendees are encouraged to attend in their Halloween attire.
Admission to the event is $5 for ages 4 and over (children under age 3 are free.) Purchase a Family Fun Pass now for $20, which offers quick entry admission for five to the event (that’s one additional person for free and no waiting in lines to enter the event!) The Family Fun Pass is on sale now through October 24th at the North Miami Parks and Recreation Department, 12300 NE 8 Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Parking is not available on-site at the event; event parking will be available at Johnson & Wales University, 1701 NE 127 Street. Shuttles will be provided to and from that location throughout the evening.
In preparation for the event, volunteers are needed to assist with prop-making, and as scene actors in the trails on event night.
