North Miami Mayor and Council will host a Candle Light Prayer Vigil

he City of North Miami’s Mayor and Council will host a special Candle Light Prayer Vigil for Haiti in collaboration with the National Haitian Elected Officials Network (NHAEON). Residents will come together as a community to pray for the families who have been directly impacted by last Saturday’s earthquake.

What: Candle Light Prayer Vigil

When: Saturday, August 21, 2021

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Where: MOCA Plaza at the Museum of Contemporary Art

North Miami, FL 33161

All faiths are welcome to attend this event. During the event, residents may also bring
medical supplies to donate to the earthquake relief effort. Donations may include wheel
chairs, crutches, medicine, over-the-counter medications, face masks, blood pressure
monitors, antibiotic ointments, first-aid kits, hand sanitizer gel, ice packs, thermometers
and sterile saline solution. To adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, guests must maintain
social distance and wear a face mask during this event. To request an interview or to
