Miami’s Community News: Bringing People Together, One Story at a Time

In a world where breaking news often overshadows the everyday, Miami’s Community News proudly champions what matters most—local people and local stories. As South Florida’s #1 hyperlocal news organization, it’s been connecting neighbors and neighborhoods for over 60 years.

Founded by Ron Miller with one small paper and a big vision, Miami’s Community News has grown under the leadership of his sons, Michael and Grant Miller. Today, the company includes 13 print editions that reach from Aventura and Coral Gables to South Miami, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Homestead, and even into South Broward County. At the core of it all is a simple belief: news should bring people together.

In addition to its robust print circulation, the organization has evolved into a multimedia powerhouse. Its digital home is www.CommunityNewspapers.com, where readers can access local stories, columns, and community updates. But what truly sets the brand apart in today’s media landscape is its fast-growing video and podcast platform: CNEWS TV, found at www.CNEWSTV.com.

CNEWS TV produces more than 35 original video podcasts each week—making it one of the most active local media networks in the region. Hosted by a diverse team of passionate personalities—Michael Miller, Grant Miller, Lori Nusbaum, Fax Sax, Gloria Burns, Emily Zubi, and Sebastian Alvarez—these shows spotlight Miami’s leaders, changemakers, entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and nonprofits. It’s where the voices of the community are truly seen and heard.

    But it doesn’t stop there.

Miami’s Community News is also a trusted source for publishing legal notices in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Attorneys, municipalities, and individuals rely on its established reach, making it a preferred publication for probate notices, fictitious names, and more—both in print and online.

To further support and strengthen the community, the team hosts monthly “Meet and Greet” events that attract 150+ people. These gatherings bring together business owners, civic leaders, and everyday residents in an atmosphere of networking, collaboration, and genuine conversation.

Whether through news stories, podcasts, social media, networking events, or legal publications, Miami’s Community News remains committed to its mission: bringing people together. It’s not just about headlines—it’s about heartlines. And in every neighborhood they serve, they’re doing just that.

As Miami continues to grow and evolve, Miami’s Community News will keep showing up, telling your stories, and building bridges—one neighborhood at a time.

What You Really Need to Know Before Buying a Condo in Miami

    Condo in Miami

Navigating the Miami real estate market requires more than just identifying appealing properties—it necessitates an informed, strategic approach, particularly when purchasing a condo in Miami. At Blackstone International Realty, LLC, our team is dedicated to guiding clients through this complex landscape, ensuring every purchase aligns with their unique goals and lifestyle.

Location as the Foundation of Value

The diverse neighborhoods that make up Miami each offer distinctive experiences. Miami Beach delivers serene coastal living, perfect for those drawn to white-sand beaches and a more relaxed atmosphere. Downtown Miami, with its thriving business hubs, appeals to urban professionals and nightlife enthusiasts. Meanwhile, Midtown Miami attracts those intrigued by culture and the arts. Assess how each location’s proximity to work, schools, and personal interests meshes with your daily routine and long-term plans.

    Evaluating Amenities and Association Fees

Condo living in Miami real estate often means exclusive access to luxury amenities, such as resort-style pools, fitness centers, and concierge services. Determine which amenities you will truly utilize, as association fees commonly reflect the scope and upkeep of these features. Ensuring your selections match your preferences is key to optimizing both value and satisfaction.

    Assessing the Physical Condition

The age and condition of a property have direct implications for maintenance and potential costs. Newer condos may carry higher price tags but offer modern conveniences and energy efficiencies, while older units can charm with character but may demand more frequent repairs. A thorough inspection—covering everything from plumbing and electrical systems to roofs and shared spaces—is indispensable.

Understanding Association Rules and Ownership Statistics

Condo association policies can shape your lifestyle for years to come. Whether regarding pet restrictions, rental limitations, or renovation guidelines, familiarize yourself with the governing documents. Additionally, examine the owner-to-tenant ratio—buildings with a higher percentage of resident-owners typically maintain superior communal care and offer better resale opportunities.

For professional guidance and a seamless buying experience, rely on Blackstone International Realty, LLC. Our team of Miami real estate specialists is dedicated to helping you make informed decisions when it comes to Miami condo ownership. Begin your journey with the assurance that trusted expertise is always within reach.

Effortless Chic and Laid-Back Luxury: Natalie Pons and the Art of Everyday Elegance

Fashion is confidence, creativity and self-expression – and few embody that philosophy quite like Natalie Pons. As the founder and creative force behind Wardrobe & More, a beautifully curated boutique gracefully tucked into the corner of Grand Avenue and Fuller Street in Coconut Grove, Pons has turned her love of timeless style into a thriving community hub.

More than just a place to shop, Wardrobe & More is a celebration of individuality, connection and style with substance. With a sharp eye for unique, elevated pieces and a deep commitment to showcasing female-led brands, Natalie has created a space where fashion feels effortless and personal – where finding “something special” is part of a relaxed, inspired experience.

At the heart of it all is Natalie herself – a tastemaker, entrepreneur and community-builder whose easy elegance makes Wardrobe & More as welcoming as it is chic.

West Coast Cool Meets Miami Soul

Born and raised in Miami, Natalie always had an eye for style, but her fashion philosophy was equally shaped by the years she spent on the West Coast. Studying in Seattle and later living in California, she was drawn to the region’s relaxed yet sophisticated aesthetic. Clothes that look put together, without trying too hard. Think classic denim, crisp button-downs, slouchy knitwear and that perfect “borrowed-from-the-boys” tailoring that just works.

“I’ve always loved Diane Keaton,” she shares. “The way she wore those oversized blazers and trousers in Woody Allen movies – there was an ease to it, but it still felt chic.” That balance is exactly what she brings to her boutique.

After a successful 15-year career in marketing and PR, Natalie yearned for something more personal, something tactile. So, in 2015, she took a leap of faith and opened The Wardrobe, a boutique dedicated to well-made, easy-to-wear fashion. It was an instant hit. But by 2020, she felt the store had outgrown its original vision.

“Fashion is just one part of how we express ourselves,” she says. “Our homes, our routines, our little daily rituals – they all play a role as well.”

So she expanded: The Wardrobe became Wardrobe & More, a concept store that now offers home goods, pantry staples, books and artwork. Because, as Natalie puts it, “Why stop at just dressing well when you can live well, too?”

    Effortless, Elevated Essentials

When it comes to fashion, Natalie believes in timeless essentials over trends. The racks at Wardrobe & More reflect just that: perfectly worn-in denim, crisp poplin shirts, cozy yet refined knitwear and pieces that transition seamlessly from one season (or one occasion) to the next.

“I’m all about investment pieces,” she says. “Things you can wear over and over again that always feel fresh.”

The “more” is just as thoughtfully curated. The boutique is stocked with hand-thrown pottery from independent makers, specialty pantry items that zhuzh up everyday meals and books that inspire creativity and exploration. It’s all part of her belief that style is equally about what you put on as it is about the life you create around it.

And at the core of it all? Women. Nearly every brand in the store is female-founded –  a deliberate decision Natalie made from the start.

    The Coconut Grove Lifestyle

Coconut Grove is a natural extension of Natalie’s brand. With its leafy streets, historic charm and effortlessly cool energy, the neighborhood embodies everything Wardrobe & More stands for.

“The Grove is a place where people walk everywhere, where things move at a slower, more intentional pace,” she says. “I love that. Even our customers who drive in, once they’re here, we encourage them to take a walk, grab a coffee, soak it all in.”

    Style, and Make It Personal

Natalie has created a space where style feels easy, shopping is personalized and every customer leaves with something that feels just right for them.

“We’re not about trends,” she says. “We’re about finding pieces that fit into your life.”

In a world that’s increasingly digital, there’s something refreshing about a store that invites you to slow down, browse and connect. Natalie isn’t just selling clothes – she’s curating a lifestyle. One that’s as effortless as a linen dress on an April afternoon, as chic as a well-tailored blazer and as inviting as brunch with friends.
