Deering Estate to offer $4 general admission on 4th of July weekend

Deering Estate is offering $4 general admission on 4th of July weekend, July 3-5.

Enjoy wildlife viewing, bay vistas and self-guided access of the museums. Don’t forget to pack a picnic. Guests also can check out the solo exhibition by Amalia Caputo, “Every Being is an Island.” The exhibition opens to the public on June 18 and runs daily through Aug. 31.

Purchase tickets online and select the day(s) of your visit, July 3, July 4, or July 5 (Saturday, Sunday or Monday) for reduced-cost general admission: $4 per person (ages 4 and older). Admission is free for Deering Estate Foundation members and children ages 3 and under (membership cards must be presented at gate).

Reduced-cost tickets are limited. Purchase online. Ticket sales at gate may be limited.

The Deering Estate preserves the 1920s era Miami estate of Charles Deering, Chicago industrialist, early preservationist, environmentalist, art collector, philanthropist and first chair of the International Harvester Company.

The Deering Estate is a 21st Century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and a national landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. The Deering Estate is located at 16701 SW 72 Ave.
