St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will host its second annual St. Andrew’s Car Show in January, and now is the time for those interested in displaying their cars to register to be sure of getting a spot at the popular event in Palmetto Bay.
Event organizer Diego Palacios is excited about the return of this annual gathering of classic and exotic cars of all types.
“Last year’s car show was a total success, with 110 cars on display, and more than 500 spectators from Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest and Coral Gables,” Palacios said. “There’ll be great food trucks, all of which sold out last year and, best of all, there’ll be great community fellowship for a greater cause — St. Andrew’s Food pantry that supports more than 1,600 families in our community.”
The car show will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 14260 Old Cutler Rd.
This year organizers expect more than 120 classic and exotic cars. There is a small fee for registering cars to be displayed, but for people just attending to see it all and enjoy an outing it is a free community event. Besides the food trucks there will be craft vendors, music and fun family-friendly activities. There will be free parking across the street at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church.
Displayed cars and vendors must be set up by 9 a.m. To display a car, go to www.standrewsmiami.org/car-show. Vendors interested in participating should contact Diego Palacios at 786-521-0690 or by email at palacdiego@hotmail.com.
“We invite the community to attend and have a great time,” Palacios said.
