The Greater Miami Symphonic Band is offering two free holiday oncerts to the public during December in appreciation of the ccommunity’s continued support and commitment to the band, especially during the hiatus imposed by the pandemic.
The first Holiday Concert is at Pinecrest Gardens, Banyan Bowl, 11000 SW 57 Ave. in Pinecrest, on Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. and will be a live in-person concert in the open-air amphitheater of the Banyan Bowl (masks are required by the venue). This family holiday concert features Susie Blank Wolfe, vocal soloist, and a family sing-along. Reservations are required. Contact the band at 305-273 7687.
The second Holiday Concert is at Gusman Concert Hall, UM campus, on Dec 14 at 8 p.m., and is only available via live online streaming through Frost Music Live at https://frost-music-live.miami.edu. This holiday concert features Daisy Su (vocalist) and the Greater Miami Voices. For more information, contact the band’s hotline at 305-273-7687.
