Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) volunteer Nicole Martinez repaints a wall at the Richmond-Perrine Optimist Club as part of FPL’s Power to Care initiative on Mar. 9 in Homestead. The Richmond-Perrine Optimist Club is a private non-profit organization that serves the youth, poor and elderly through various service events. Celebrating its 11th anniversary, FPL’s Power to Care Week consisted of 30 projects with more than 1,000 employee volunteers throughout the state.
