Old Cutler Presbyterian Church Arts & Crafts Festival, Nov. 12

By Phyllis Webber….
Award winning black and white naturalist photographer Marilyn Brown is among the more than 40 artists and crafters who will be exhibiting and selling their art treasures during the “First Annual Arts & Crafts Festival” on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church, 14401 Old Cutler Rd. in Palmetto Bay.

Brown — whose pictures of the Everglades, Coral Gables, Historic Miami, Key Biscayne and other local landmarks have graced executive offices, bank lobbies and residential homes for years — has been exhibited at the prestigious Coconut Grove Art Show, Beaux Arts at the University of Miami, Key Biscayne Art Festival and South Miami Art Show.

According to festival chair Andrea Rogers, Brown will be joined by artists Phil Capen, Marilyn Sheppard, Marabel Morgan, Stacie Krupa, Pasta Pantaleo, Jayne Vander Woude, Coco Bella and many more.

Additionally, a select group of food vendors will be on hand, including Sports Grill, Crepe Maker and Flips Kettle Korn, along with cold drinks, hot dogs and a mouth-watering bake sale. There also will be face painting and other activities for kids. To add to the fun, live music will fill the air.

All proceeds from artists’ registration fees will go toward supporting the many ministries of Old Cutler Presbyterian Church.

For additional information on the show, call Andrea Rogers at 305-332-8834, or send email to andrearogers@ocpc.org.
