Palmer Trinity School has hired Paul Zamek as its new associate head of school and director of real estate. He will report directly to the head of school, Patrick H.F. Roberts, and will work closely with both the school’s Business and Development offices.
“We are pleased to be welcoming Paul to Palmer Trinity and look forward to his contributions in this capacity,” Roberts said. “He has been a successful businessman, and his experience in this sector will be an invaluable asset as we work to reach our shortterm goals as well as accomplish what our long-range vision is for the school.”
Zamek has more than 20 years of experience in site selection and acquisition, entitlement and land use approvals, project management, public advocacy, master planning and architecture. His experience also includes academic institutions in campus planning, development and construction. He most recently was founder and president of Zamek Development, a real estate development services firm in Coral Gables.
In addition, he is an adjunct professor for the University of Miami’s School of Architecture. His community involvement includes: Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and the Coral Gables Landscape Beautification Advisory Board as well as other organizations.
Zamek holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both architecture and urban studies from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. He earned a master’s in architecture from Columbia University and is the recipient of an Alpha Rho Chi Medal which recognizes graduating architecture students for their leadership and potential in the profession.
