Chanukah will be celebrated Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Coral Reef Park, 7895 SW 152 Street. Included will be activities for children including a bounce house and games. For all ages there will be music, candle decorating and raffles. Traditional holiday delicacies of latkes (potato pancakes), donuts and Chanukah gelt (chocolate coins) will be served.
Mayor Shelley Stanczyk and other dignitaries from the community will join with Rabbi Zalman Gansburg for The Grand Lighting of a candy menorah at 3:00.
