Palmer Trinity sophomore Sarah Lipshultz (’16) won High School category first place for a creative piece she wrote for the La Plume Young Writers’ Contest. La Plume offers students the opportunity to express themselves through short stories based on themes relevant to their grade level. A panel of professional journalists, actors, writers and educators evaluated all submissions. Lipshultz, one of two high school students awarded first place, was honored for her piece, “What would you do if you knew you could not fail.”
