Miami-Dade County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava and the Miami-Dade Asian American Advisory Board are inviting the public to view the royal cremation ceremony of late Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. via live telecast from Bangkok at Miami’s Wat Buddharangsi Buddhist temple at 15200 SW 240th St.

King Bhumibol reigned from 1946 until his death in 2016.

Members of the public who wish to attend are asked to wear formal funeral attire.

“I join with the Asian American Advisory Board and Miami-Dade’s Thai community in commemorating the late King of Thailand. This historic figure reigned for more than seven decades and was known as a promoter of sustainable economic development, an advocate for the common people of Thailand, and a peacemaker,” said Commissioner Levine Cava.
