Palmer Trinity Student Competes In 2018 Junior Olympic Fencing Championships

Diego Cano

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) student Diego Cano recently competed in the 2018 Junior Olympic Fencing Championship in Memphis, Tennessee, as part of the USA Fencing team. Diego competed in the fencing championships’ cadet event, and was one of three male fencers under 16 years old to qualify from our area.

As one of the youngest fencers in his category, this competition presented the eighth-grader with the opportunity to fence with some of the top athletes in the nation and gain crucial experience necessary for future competitions.
