PTS receives two prestigious awards for participation in Race for the Cure

Cathy McCarthy, executive director for the Susan G. Komen Miami/Fort Lauderdale Affiliate, presented Student Activities director Elena de Villiers, head of Upper School Ashley Chapman, and parents and students with two plaques for High School Team with Most Participants and Top High School Fundraising Team during the 2013 Race for the Cure.

Palmer Trinity School students were honored recently for their various fundraising efforts during the month of October 2013, also known as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which raised almost $3,000 for the Susan G. Komen Miami/Fort Lauderdale Affiliate.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, Cathy McCarthy, executive director for the Susan G. Komen Miami/Fort Lauderdale Affiliate, and Patti Morgan, Race for the Cure High School Teams Liaison, presented the school the following awards: High School Team with Most Participants and Top High School Fundraising Team.
