After finishing the regular season 3rd in the standings, the Howard Palmetto Juvy Division, The Royals, swept through the playoffs winning 4 straight, defeating the Stingrays 5-2 for the championship. Donovan Murray pitched 4 strong innings earning the win and Riley Joseph brought the heat with a 3 inning save, and Lucas Hernandez provided all the offense needed with 2 HRs and 4 RBIs. The Royals defense was solid all night, highlighted by a rally killing 6th inning diving catch by right fielder Mason Mcelroy.
