Azucar Ice Cream Company, the wildly popular 8th Street artisanal ice cream and sorbet boutique that has been a hometown and visitor favorite is opening its second location in Florida at 11429 S. Dixie Hwy in Pinecrest, FL 33156 Tomorrow! The festivities kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will feature music, games, giveaways, samples, and more.
Scoopers who have worked at the original location will be invited to serve as celeb scoopers and to participate in the ribbon cutting. Plus, Azucar will offer free ice cream on grand opening day while supplies last.
The original Azucar Ice Cream Company opened in Little Havana in 2011 and the Pinecrest location will feature the brand’s signature flavors, including Abuela Maria, named in honor of Suzy Batlle’s grandmother and made with vanilla ice cream, cream cheese, guava, and Maria cookies.
Azucar also serves up sorbets, seasonal flavors, and classic flavors. The company uses high-quality and locally sourced ingredients to ensure that every bite of their ice cream is naturally sweet. All flavors are made fresh daily and rotated daily.
