Christopher Columbus High School inducted five new members into its Hall of Fame on December 7 in a special ceremony in the school’s cafeteria. They were inducted for their outstanding achievements and steadfast dedication to the school and included a Fortune 500 Company CEO a TV Reality Show Superstar and a Media Industry Mogul. All are alumni.
“They all embody the Columbus Marist spirit and make us truly proud, “said Columbus President Br. Kevin Handibode.
The five inductees were: 1) Teresa Chomat (Chemistry and Math Teacher in her 26th year at Columbus); 2) Marcus Lemonis (Class of 1991 alumnus known as the “Business Turnaround King” and Host of CNBC’s Reality Series The Profit Chairman & CEO of Camping World; 3) Br. Angelo Palmieiri (Columbus Administrator and Teacher who served Columbus for Over 18 Years and former Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of Miami) 4) Ray Rodriguez (Class of 1969 alumnus and former President & Chief Operating Officer of Univision Communications Inc.) 5) Robert Sanchez (Class of 1983 alumnus who is the Chairman & CEO of Ryder System Inc.)
