Dr. Joy Galliford, Founder and Executive Director of Friends of South Florida Music, is being honored at the Lauren Daigle concert on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
Lauren Daigle is a Grammy award winning Christian music artist. whose album Look Up Child, led by the cross-over hit single “You Say”, has been one of the highest-charting Christian albums of all time. She is currently touring the country on her Kaleidoscope Tour.
The Price Fund – a Lauren Daigle foundation- is honoring the work of Friends of South Florida Music. In addition to providing an award winning music curriculum, Friends of South Florida Music provides Dr. Joy’s Music FUNdamentals early childhood music classes at twelve schools throughout Miami-Dade County to over 1,450 children in under-resourced communities of South Florida.
The Price Fund’s mission is to instill hope and love among all people, no matter their background by supporting care for children, elderly and those in need around the world through communal initiatives and outreach. The Price Fund focuses on improving music education programs across the country by identifying top music programs in all of Lauren’s tour markets.
Dr. Joy and the leaders of Friends of South Florida Music will be presented with the grant at the beginning of the concert on stage with Lauren Daigle.
