On Sunday, Feb. 26th, the Greater Miami Symphonic Band will be performing in Pinecrest Gardens. What a wonderful combination; a great musical performance in an environmental oasis! Additionally, we will have the pleasure to hearing and watching the Rotary Club of Miami’s musical prodigy and resident clarinetist, RANDY LICHTMAN, in his role as a key member of this band. Come on out and support the Greater Miami Symphonic Band and our fellow Rotarian.
One suggestion, arrive a few hours early and enjoy viewing this beautiful garden full of native plants and trees. You might even pick up some ideas on how to use native Florida plants in your home. Pinecrest Gardens is home to one of the few natural rain forests in the country. You can even grow a microforest in your yard. Just allocate a few yards along the border with your neighbors for this project. If you want further details, just email me.
